Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the return is approved, there will be a 25% restocking fee in addition to any associated shipping costs for the returned items.  The restocking fee and shipping costs will be paid by us if the return is the result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Customers will be responsible for the shipping cost to send the products back to the warehouse. Please note that, if applicable, the original shipping fee will not be refunded.  Please also note that if the order qualified for free shipping then the actual freight cost that EastCoastHelmets paid for the delivery will be deducted from any applicable credits.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@eastcoasthelmets.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

  • Product(s) must be received in resalable condition and in original packaging.
  • We must receive product(s) within 30 calendar days after receipt of order.
  • All helmet returns will incur a 25% restocking fee.
  • You must contact us to obtain a return authorization number prior to shipping the product.
  • All return shipments must be traceable. Most shipping companies provide tracking numbers.
  • Return shipping cost is customer’s responsibility. We can arrange the return shipping for you; in this case the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
